We are currently looking for writers to write the following articles:
Market Watch
This person should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the Gaian economy. This article should discuss the past month's economy activity, such as items that are hot, items that aren't, items that are good for "get-rich-quick" and items that are good as long term investments.

The people who write these articles should be willing to brave the GCD and the Site Feedback forum on the first few days after any new items release. They should be able to incorporate the opinions of other Gaians as well as their own into this article. If they choose, they can speculate it's impact on the economy, but that can also be left for the Market Watch article.

These writers will conduct interviews with the various people featured in our publication. The people who have been honored with the month's featured profile, featured journal, featured home, and those who win the avatar arena between the 20th of the previous month and the 20th of the current month, will all be featured. In addition, this publication will be choosing a charity, roleplay, and project to feature, in order to cover a broader spectrum of the community. Please note that many of the people who are featured do shut off their PMs and friends requests while they are featured, so you may have to find alternate ways to contact the featured person. If you need help with this, let us know instead of just not doing the article.

We are also looking for freelance writers. These are writers who will pick their own topic to write a story about. One of these will be the featured headline story at the top of the publication. Among the rest, the best will be chosen to be featured throughout the rest of the publication.

All applications should be PMed to this account, NOT posted in the thread this is posted in. You may use this thread to ask questions regarding any of the positions, however, and this is preferred to PMing such questions. Application forms posted in this thread will be ignored and possibly deleted.
All decisions will be made no later than the 10th of the month for the current issue. If you apply after the 10th, you will be considered for the next issue.
Writers who write articles for at least 3 seperate months will be considered Staff Writers, and will recieve a small amount of compensation for each article they write from then on. Depending on money brought in through donations and through advertisments, this amount could grow, and as such it is not set (as we won't be paying anyone til at least December). Any staff writer who provides no articles for 3 consecutive months will no longer be considered a staff writer, and will have to start over.
