Newest entry, feel free to take a look C:
The Puppet Master is the Biggest Puppet of them All
I am just a puppet
Working the marionette
All my children feel me
The stage has started to set.
My children start to cry
And then they start to die.
They’re left there wondering why,
That their master has said goodbye.
It’s painful to watch your own creation
Wander its way into its oblivion.
The price of its life fell to deflation.
The color of life fades to viridian.
I’m a puppet master, held together by the marionette
Controlled by, what I thought I reigned on.
Controlling, my puppets, take hold of, their life yet,
I’m the one being controlled, my actions filled with regret.
I look around and all I see are strings.
I’m left wondering what the future brings.
Will I be the one freed?
Or consumed by the greed?
Will I be the one, in complete control?
Or will time, never take its toll?
Are these thoughts truly mine?
Or is this the work of the divine?
I look around and all I see are strings.
I’m left wondering what the future brings.
Will I be the one freed?
Or consumed by the greed?
Will I be the one, in complete control?
Or will time, never take its toll?
Are these thoughts truly mine?
Or is this the work of the divine?
I’m just a puppet
Working for my marionette.
My master and I are in sync
Or so he has led me to think.
