Hurricane Harvey plz.
Ain't no storm got a thing on the city as a whole. This isn't a post that's all joke, nor is it a cry for help. This is just from my own perspective of the storm.

The reason why I haven't been crying in a corner and such... is because we've been through hurricanes and such already. I wasn't about to cry over and over each time a hurricane is on its way. But this one... wow.

I doubt anyone expected this storm to take the cake of being the worst storm/flood/disaster that happened through most of Texas. So much that native residents reached out to each other to help instead of sitting on their asses to wait for outside help. Even the animals were helped when stranded. When the rain became light, that's when people who are safe, came out with their own boats or canoe or jet skiis and all that to go find and save those who needs saving. Even HEB, a grocery store, came to Houston to provide food and drinks to those who needed it.

Me, I may have been lucky to live where I live and still live even if the power went out for 6 hours. My mom and I survived mostly by being on our phones and keeping in touch with our immediate family, even my sister who lives in Dallas. She was upset that none of us came up to her before Harvey struck.. But is relieved all the same that her family are safe in the aftermath. We (family) have not lost a thing... but I only speak for myself. The rest of the city is pretty flooded. Downtown area's submerged along with highways. Just about everywhere that does a lot for the city economy is flooded.

But at the moment, we're now in the process of healing. Saving each other. Getting everyone back on their feet.

Shoot, there are smaller towns farther south of Houston that has been devastated far worse. And by far worse, I mean 80-90% annihilated. And I don't know why they are not on the news media. Rockport and other places. My heart goes to you guys and I pray in my heart that everyone, even small town people, is able to get back up and carry on with life. Because that's all we can do.
