Undetected innocence lies within the purity of the flower
they see such things we have kept secret within our souls
our only witness to parts of our lives unknown to our fellow peers that hold close
if you listen closely, not with your ears but with your heart
the flowers sing of all their memories
one flower though out of all the others i have heard sings the most beautiful
a great life it has led
such wonders it has seen we may only imagine
sprouting from the shore of a lake where it appears to be filled with moonlight reflects the many stars of an endless night sky
she will tell you how the stars spoke amongst each other for endless nights
first picked by a small girl and taken away to her home far away
there the girl layed the flower in a pot
every day she would bring the flower to the shore line of the ocean to remind the lost flower of home.
every day the flower danced with the wind and rain to the rythem of the ocean's breath
passed down for years through the family the flower now lies in the same pot with many other flowers.
though years many come and go the flower's song will never cease
so listen closely
not with your ears but with your heart
