Karien was born on the nineth month of the eigth year of the Gay Olde time. As a child he was taken in by a master thief, and taught the trade. Karien stole for food, and for the poor, never for self indulgence. At legal age of twenty four he set off on a journy to find himself. Before he left his father left him with a note that read. "Karien, I am not your real father. I found you when yuo were a child, your parents were no where to be found, so I took you in." With the note in hand, Karien set off not only to find himself, but also his parents. As he was walking threw the forst one day, he came acros a tower. He heard an explosion in the tower and went inside to check it out. Inside, h found a dark and creapy room filled wiht books. He looked threw a few only to notice that he couldn't read them. He explored the tower more to find that it was home to a wizard. He watched in amazement at the wizard, while wielding an amulet he noticed, made fire appear, and made water dance. He made earth form into sand, and back to rock. He was astounded to see a small tornado appear. when the wizard put the amullet down, and walk into the next room, Karien took it as his opportunity to take something that he wanted for himself. The first selfish act of his life. Karien snuck over, and grabbed the amulet. The tower shook,and the table the amulet was on set fire, the room began to flood, and Karien was lifted off of the ground. The wizard came runnign in only to get blasted by a ball of flame. As soon as it all started, it ended. Karien, with the amulett in hand, ran out the door he came, and away from the tower. fire spured up infront of him, and he was sucked down into the ground. Karien fell threw the air, and landed harshly on the ground. He stood, and marveled at the suroundings. Karien had found himself in one of the layers of the Abyss.
