Of A Good Assignment, Departing the Ship, and What Now?
Rose; A Good Assignment
Rose was satisfied when her warning got through to Dragon in time, who in turn told her to keep everyone else up there. And to keep this Wolf guy off Shalimar. And to keep an eye on... n**'s kids. Somehow, that seemed in conflict with her task of keeping Wolf off Shalimar, and Wynn outta trouble, too. But what could she say?
" 'Kay." She called after Dragon, and then turned on the remainder of the group. "All right, then. Wolf. No one- for now- is taking Shalimar away from you. But that will change if you don't stop pawing at her. Seriously. Don't make me have to be like your parents, here. Shal, you know your mom. You want him alive? Help enforce the rules."
Taking a few steps aside, Rose sat down on the grass. She felt immensely tired, and as if she had just been aged ten years. And that wasn't right at all. She was only 23, after all. And in most of the races she belonged, she was still considered a child herself. Except for demons, who were considered adults as soon as they first killed. So, I'm 1/4 adult, I suppose. she thought. Still, she felt tired.

Taran, et al, Departing the Ship
Niko came quietly into the cargo bay (since it was one of the main exits out of the ship, and they had landed. Behind her trailed Tuli and Jaa, who had long since given up on the annoying creature that said only one word. Niko had informed them, once the ship landed, that if they were indeed staying with Rose, that they should go home with her. She knew the way. So, the three of them came upon Taran in the cargo bay about the same time ANTIE-D did, having set the landing gear lock, and left the command deck.
Niko, aware of the others, and the tenseness in the room still, walked quickly over to Taran. But it was the gwees who "talked" to him, right into his head, but not in speakerthought.
"Niko can take us back to Rose's house." said Tuli. "And you did say to stay with her." added Jaa. "She's sure to go home almost right away." finished Tuli.
They wanted some kind of response from him, but he didn't know what to say or think back. He was too weak to walk, yet.
Which made it convenient that ANTIE-D walked over to where they all were.
"Think you can carry Taran to Rose's?" Niko asked.
ANTIE-D smiled. "Of course."
She leaned over and picked him up, and started heading out the door. Taran wanted to say something to Rhonabwy, or, or something, but he couldn't think of what. He hated being so helpless for the moment. He knew he'd be better in a few hours, but he couldn't help here, and he definately didn't want to get in the middle of an arguement between a dragon god and his... (former?) lover.
He said nothing, as the troop marched out of the ship, and headed to Rose's house.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Se'rox; What Now?
As Zuchax III commented on her clothing, or, specifically, how much lacking it was, she felt heat flush up to her face. He picked up on his own answer almost immediately, thankfully, realizing that the Nobody Hunters had done it.
He came up to her and held her very, very close. She sighed. It felt nice.
Just after he said they could go home anytime, she opened her mouth to ask to go, then, since she felt physically and mentally drained, and doubted she had recovered completely yet from all the drugs she'd been given. But she didn't get to say it.
"Yes, right away... " she managed, as he began to sniff at her. It tickled, and she giggled. "Zuchax... sto- what are you do-" she muttered, between giggles. She frowned, however (which was difficult as he was still sniffing at her shoulder almost under the jacket now) when he said he smelled ink. But she tried to dismiss it.
"Then you spilled some on your jacket. This tickles!" she said in response. But she did not think that this was necessarily true. He would have smelt the ink on his jacket when he had it, and she was fairly certain that he knew her scent by now. She continued to frown, concerned.
