A C I D MuFFin Chronicals
A collection of thoughts, rants, and randomness from your favorite Corrosive Substance Covered Pastry!
Fed up with 'Kawaii'

Kawaii.
An Island in the state of Hawaii.
Not and adjective.
Oh look a kitten.
Is it an island in Hawaii?
Nope.
But it sure is cute.
Whats this, you say?
Kawaii is a slang word for cute?
HELLZ NUU!
Kawaii is an island, no matter how you slice it.
Kawaii is not code for cute.
And so, I shall voice my concern for today's youth.
Are you all stupid?
Kawaii. Proper Noun.
As in, a person, place or thing.
Not an adjective.
As in, a word used to describe something.
Like slimy, or fluffy, or annoying.
Get it through your heads!
-huff-
You don't see people muttering Ohio! when they step in doggy poo.
I just don't see the point.

    I am Ezlo

As I recall, kawaii is Japanese for cute.
And there's a ton of Japanophiles on the internet who started using it in English sentences.
    Just say 私は憎む。
    Or "Watashi wa kirai mu."
According to this site, that's the Japanese equivalent of "I hate/dislike you."
Which, oddly enough, translates back into "I hate/dislike."
    Please respect the name.
