Officially gonna go see Twilight at 4 today, so anyone willing to come is thus invited. Anywhos, it should be fun.
Moving on!
Told Grandpa I was bi yesterday. He took it just like I expected: Perfectly. He didn't get irritated or uncomfortable. He told me he'd love me forever, no matter what and that I just needed to be myself. God, I don't think I've ever loved him more. I told him at Barnes and Nobles after spending (an awkward) lunch with grandma and gramps at Black Angus. Julie and Brian and Brianna came by and dropped off pictures (they'd already ate so they weren't hungry). Then we went to Barnes and Nobles (well, gramps and I did. Grandma went to some quilting place for buttons) and I told him while I searched for Wicked. He said he'd talk to grandma and I think knowing I'd told grandpa really helped grandma. I think having no one to talk to about it was what was really bothering her. She seems better today.
We went to Linens and Things (which is apparently going out of business) and bought grams some towels (nice, pretty, big white ones) and grams got me a ginger bread house! I've wanted to make one every Christmas since I was like five, so I'm so excited. It's got a place of honor on my kitchen table right now! (still in the box, but hey, I'll get it done by Christmas). Then we went and got fish at Tat's (I saw Elizabeth W. there. Who knew she came to Ventura?). Then we got pound cake at this Ettemans store and I came back home and read Wicked until dad and me left for Monday Night Football. God, that book's good.
So, anywhos, down a Marie Callendars, dad and I sat down and he ate hot dogs and I ate cheese fries and Roger and his son, Justin (old, old friends) showed up and it's been like two years since I saw them (Justin's only like 7 and doesn't really remember me) so we talked and they kept dad entertained while I read Wicked (yes, I brought it with me to MNF. sue me!) Dad won a Sunday Brunch so come December 7, we're going to brunch! Yummy!!! (Hopefully most of the Thanksgiving leftovers will be gone)
Speaking of Thanksgiving, totally can't freakin wait! Prep work starts bright and early tomorrow! Pie and potatoes and green beans and onions and mushrooms and turkey and stuffing and biscuits! It's like a chefs dream! May Kira bless Thanksgiving! heart xd
