Taran: A New Acquisition
Having completed his latest quest/task having to do with the Dragon Dynasty and having begun to feel more like a lackey than usual, Taran had taken a nice, two-day nap at Dragon's house. She had told him to make himself comfortable. Or... was that, to make... someone else comfortable? He wasn't exactly sure. He had delivered Alachia, and n** was under Nissa's care, and he had been days without rest or a good meal.
When Taran finally woke, he wrote a note of thanks to Dragon for her hospitality, and departed.
He had only been under Gaia's big blue sky for three minutes when a shadow blotted out the sunshine. Looking up, Taran saw a ship, that happened to be practically hovering over him.
Then everything went bright blue around Taran, and he closed his eyes. When he opened them, he was standing in a circular enclosure, open on one end where it led to a small console with a humanoid behind it.
"Welcome aboard, Taran." the humanoid said. "My designation is DOS. You are aboard the Reliance. This ship is now under your command, Sir."
Taran eyed the man oddly. There was something... ah. he thought.
"You... are an android, correct?" Taran asked.
"Yes, Sir." DOS responded.
"And... I am in command here because....?" Taran asked.
"You are in command on this ship Sir because it is your ship." DOS responded. "And I am at your service, Sir."
"This is..." Taran said, and then realized. If this was his ship- which he didn't request- and it was named the Reliance.... "Was there any message for me?" Taran asked.
"Sir, yes. The man who commissioned the Reliance for you, Sir, said that it was quite necessary for you to be able to travel on your own. This ship currently has a crew of four thousand, one hundred and thirty two beings, and myself. We are under your command, Sir."
Taran just nodded. Leave it to a Dragon God- even one as reticent as Lofwyr- to deem a Star Ship as a necessary possession. Though... part of him was relieved to not have to borrow Rose's little ship anymore.
After a moment, Taran responded. "All right, then. Let's go to the command deck, and see about a few things."
"Bridge. It is called the Bridge, Sir." DOS corrected.
"Okay. Take me to the Bridge, then." Taran ordered.
DOS led him out of the transporter room, and slightly down the hall to the elevators. From there it was only moments before they arrived on the deck. After what seemed like a kind of odd tradition, the crew on the Bridge introduced themselves. As did Taran.
And then he ordered something odd, but, he felt better doing so.
Moments later, the Reliance was towing the Dragonfly back to her home dock. It was the least Taran could do.

I don't think DOS is a warship Nis.
Nissa His dimensions equal that of mine.
Not every ship your size is a warship.
