effect is unheard of by looking into a river in the magical world. You can only achieve such results by brewing a potion with the right ingredients. I looked around, panting loudly and saw Hina’s expression turning frightened. She had her hands on my wrists because it looked like I was attacking her. I swallowed and tried to speak in a clear voice. “What was that?!” I exclaimed in an angry tone. Now I miss him even more after seeing that fateful day happen once more before my eyes. I gave a surprised expression instead of being honest and looking at her like I was about to kill her. She lifted me from the ground as I tried to get up myself and she began muttering to herself. She was pacing back and forth. “Brainwashed, him, help” was I could hear from her. Then, I felt my face grow pale… I knew what she was talking about… Someone has brainwashed the one I love! How?! I asked myself. Who would want to do that to him? And how did they do that in the first place? I was heading off toward the schoolyard again until Hina’s solid grasp stole my arm once more. “No,” she said to me, her voice slightly panicked. “Spencer has him. Let’s go to him. Now!” In a flash, she was leading me to a house near a bright and clear meadow. She led me to a two story house, painted a shining, glimmering white that reminded me of my dresser with vines crawling all over it with flowers of all kinds sprouting from their buds the moment we came through a thick brush. I looked around and saw a darling brook with crystal clear water echoing throughout the entire place and baby blue pebbles right in the bottom right beside the elegant house. I gulped, not knowing what else to do. Not even my sister knows of such a place. She could afford just about everything to make her mansion look like this place but it wouldn’t be the same. “Wow” was all my mouth felt capable of saying. It was an understatement of how I really felt but my awe held my mouth shut like my mouth was full of sticky peanut butter. Hina was still smiling, however she was smiling honestly now. She looked at me, her eyes bright like the sunlight. “I know. Looks like Spencer’s home.” She said, her tone was elevated as well. This Spencer person must be really important to her for her to feel so much better now that she is close to him. But of course, I was being stupid. No wonder she could tell how much I hurt inside. She was in love too. Probably with this Spencer person. I felt so stupid for not realizing at first but I usually used Magic to find this type of information. She had blocked my Magic when I tried to find out more about her back in the classroom. I saw his shadow on one of the windows in front of the house. My stomach churned and I felt uneasy. After so many times of feeling this in my past lives, it always affects me. The butterflies in my stomach automatically stopped when we stepped on the porch and Hina gave soft knocks on the door. It began to rain without my knowing and I made sure that none of my expensive clothes were left out in the rain. The purse I had was made of silk. Gabriel had opened the door and he had a dark and sinister expression on his angelic face. His eyes no longer brown, but black instead. His eyes widened when he saw us. I only paid attention to his face ignoring the dark greeting he gave us. I could finally feel his name echo in my mind without causing me pain. Yet I wondered how he got here in the first place and before us. And how long have I been hallucinating in the forest when I fell unconscious? I felt a little lost as I entered the elegant house. But I didn’t understand his expression… “Gabriel has been brainwashed,” Hina finally told me directly. Her voice was filled with anger. Her fists were balled up and she looked like she was ready to strike the one I love. I sensed a man approach us with long, wet hair and a handsome face. He looked worriedly at Hina and she hugged him and he wrapped his arms around her. He murmured something in her ear that I couldn’t quite catch.
