A/N:Okay, so I decided to write a fanfic while I was at my grandma's. Since I have to wait two days to start posting on fanfiction.com, I'll write it here. It's kingdom hearts since I got the idea while trying *failing* to explain Organization XIII to my mother....Heh heh. Warning! Knowing me you'll probably know that I like pairing up GUYS WITH GUYS, so if I do get a little....well, this might just be rated like p.g 16....don't kill me or be a jerk wad and post me things....

This is my first REAL fanfic...with an OC....so please bear with me.

"Do you have any threes?"

"Nope, go fish."

"Damn."

"Do you have any sevens?"

"Nope, go fish."

"Damn."

I glared over my cards at my older cousin as he drew a blue backed card from the deck between us. The only other sounds in the small rustic room were the sounds of my other cousin texting god knows who this time. All of us were wearing bassically tank tops and jeans, which looked really weird considering that it was dark and stormy outside, almost night timey, at 2 in the afternoon! We went to visit grandma and grandpa over thanksgiving vacation, but we truthfully expected warm weather since it was basically the hottest place I've ever been and hope to ever go to. We never thought that it would be so dark and threatening outside. Or for the power to basically go out an hour after all the adults left to go shopping or whatever. And in the middle of my video game that I wasn't able to save! I'll never reach that level again...

A rumble of thunder interrupted my selfish teenage angry thoughts. Glancing up through the large window that took u the whole wall to me left, I saw the bright flash of what seemed to be lighting. I sighed looking over at my cousin who was awaiting my turn.

"Got any threes?"

"Yeah."

"Hand 'em over."

Another flash of lightening. The candles we had lit so that we could see flickered for a moment as a small breeze threatened to snuff them out. The card passed over the table to join it's diamond counter-part in my sets of matches. I was now out of cards. A smirk spread across my lips," I do believe I won again."

Lyruff, he probably had the weirdest name in the family, frowned and threw down his cards, glaring at me. He was only about a year older then I, but he acted like a child. "Alright Alex, how did you cheat this time," The glare made it's way into his voice as well.

My smirk grew wider, "I didn't."

"Oh my god...."My other cousin, Kyile, whispered in shock.

Another lightning strike, more thunder.

"What's up, sis?" Asked Lyruff.

She simply shook her head, eyes wide but with a small smile."Oh, Bambi just texted me saying that weird little alien things were attacking his house. Yeah right! We'd know if they were, he lives two houses away!" She rolled her eyes and started clicking buttons.

I raised an eyebrow at her,"What's with you and Disney names?"

Bambi was her nickname for a friend of hers that lived real closer to grandma's house. They've been sexting for the past two hours. He was at least four years older then her.

"Well now that you mention it, his place does look really dark. Are you sure he's home?" He said, looking out the window.

"Yeah. The cars are out there, so of course the have to be home." I looked out the window on the other side. The house looked, no lights on. Maybe it was the fact that I was currently not wearing my glasses, but I could have sworn that the dark air around the house was...well....moving...

More thunder and lightening and I was seriously creeped out. In that single flash, none of the mass that surrounded the house disappeared.

Shivering I stepped away from the window,"I'm gonna go find a jacket or something to wear. It's getting cold." I disappeared down the hall, taking one of the candles and leaving my two cousins to gawk out the window at Kyile's phone ***** house.

As I reached the door to the room I shared with my mom, my mind kept wandering to the same thing. What sort of a fog was that? It was so black, so solid, I didn't get it. Beside, I could have sworn I saw a pair of bright yellow eyes looking at me through the window. I shook my head, keeping myself from being creeped out.

After throwing on layers of whatever clothes I brought, I finally checked to see how bad I looked in all those layers. I'd thrown a checkered skirt over my black jeans which covered my knee high different colored striped socks. One being white with black strips (or was it the other way around?) and the other being red with black strips (again, maybe the other way around.) and they most definitely didn't match my bright lime green converses. My top was a simple bright purple blouse with a black vest over it. The only jacket I brought was my wimpy 'Hello Kitty' dark blue hoodie, but I was cold enough to wear it.

I stared at my reflection, the mirror reflected the candle light in an almost romantic way. As the only source of light, there was a solid blackness to my left, opposite of the candle. It casted shadows over my faces, making me look as if I had on some sort of a black veil the covered half of my body. I sighed, suddenly realizing how poetic and sappy my thoughts were.

Then I felt the sudden feeling of being watched, of something being there in the room with me.

I glanced around behind me, expecting to see one of my cousins there.

Nothing.

"Hello?" I called, turning around slightly to face the door."Kyile! Lyruff! If y'all want to talk to me, just do it!" No reply. Besides the door wasn't even open.

Turning back around, I looked back at the mirror. There were two windows in the room, both both of them were closed as far as I knew. Then why did I feel so cold. I shivered and rubbed my hands over my fore arms. Was one of them open?

...WAS ONE OF THEM OPEN!?

The sudden thought hit me the same moment I saw the two bright yellow eyes behind me, jumping forward to pounce. I swung around and punched it straight in between the bright yellow orbs at the same time as a guy with white hair kicked open the door and yelled, "Sora! There's another in here!"
