ANTIE-D, Tuli, Jaa and Niko; Watching the Party

ANTIE-D had shown up minutes before the coronation and had slipped into the grass area above in time to see Rose crowned Queen. She recorded it, and secured the file as just as quickly as it had started it was over. With her, ANTIE-D had brought Rose's three favorite companions- Niko the coco cat, and Tuli and Jaa, the fire and ice gwees. As the kitsunes dissipated in order to enter the palace through the front, ANTIE-D waited until the entire area had cleared out before entering the palace through the restricted access door that Rose, Chazu and Dragon (and her guests) had used. She brushed a hand softly along the top of the doorframe as she passed, already starting to upgrade security here in what was possibly going to be Rose's new home.

Tuli and Jaa flew ahead, not waiting for ANTIE-D, quickly flew in after the remainder of the DD. They were in time to see Rose step onto a dias in the middle of the Great Hall. Some blonde pointy-haired kitsune man was already on the Dias, and he bent down on one knee and offered her a gift. Rose took the blue-beaded bracelet, which seemed to have a tail of a live flame on it, and she put it on her wrist. She nodded her head slightly, and then gave him a hug.

Tuli looked at Jaa, who looked back at him. <Who is this guy?> Tuli asked his sister gwee with his mind.

Jaa just shook her head in response. <How should I know? Let's just find out, though, shall we?>

Tuli nodded, and they flew near the dias to keep ears out for the conversation.

Niko had wandered in, and was checking out the accessories of the kitsunes. Very... primeval. He wasn't sure what exactly had been keeping them alive all these centuries... except for that foxfire stuff. Seriously, they could use some technological innovations, and stat.

The party was going on well, ANTIE-D noted as she moved quietly through the crowd. She made a note, as well, that Dragon had left early and left a hologram in her place, but she was sure it was a matter of life or death. Too bad that was too common with that one.

She noticed that Rose was drinking now, too. Probably a good thing considering how tightly wound that girl probably was by now. Chazu had slipped off, also- but considering he was trying to pull off faking to be a fox when he was really a wolf was probably making him jittery.

ANTIE-D noticed that a female kitsune with long, straight light-brown hair and intricate attire had walked onto the dias. The kitsune made a curtsy and then offered Rose a wooden staff with a golden ball in its intricately carved center. Rose accepted it to some cheers from the guests. Scanning her databases, ANTIE-D could only come up with some kind of supposition that it gave Rose the right to dole out justice, or some such power.

Neither the male kitsune nor the female that had joined Rose on the dias left it until Rose descended it and made rounds about the party herself a few minutes later. Thankfully, all the kitsunes seemed to be enjoying themselves and genuinely happy for the occassion. This might work out well after all.
