I don't care
My life is not a mystery,
it's plain as day,
it's just attention you don't pay.
While one says "Hey",
another says my name
and it makes me feel to tame.
alas, it's just a friend,
baring the cold truth-
I'm a dorky nervous goof.
but...
I can live with it,
I can accept the bit,
it's just that my life with yours doesn't fit.
But, I don't care.
My infamous line,
makes it seem fine,
but it's usually not.
I'm just the knot,
the tightest of all,
in your new headphones,
the one so tight it screws with the tones.
