Lost Of Humanity
By Darius Daniel
A small boy on a hill where one tree grew,
Red lines ran down the hill like veins,
A pool of dark-red liquid sits on top where blood has been spilled,
Blood stained the child as he laughs in sick joy,
A body hung from the tree gently swaying,
Hung across a burning sky,
Embracing the sun,
Ashes falling like snow,
The body's face was that of a once beautiful girl,
Eyes gutted and jaw broken,
The boy swung his hand while holding a dagger across her stomach,
Entrails spilled into the pool of dark red liquid below,
More dark liquid run down the ash covered grass,
The boy laughed in a high tone of sick joy,
His ocean colored eyes mirrored the flames from the city,
Screams and gun shots rose in the sulfuric air,
The boy smiled and revealed blood stained savage teeth,
He stared down the ash covered hill,
Down below where hundreds of body’s,
Impaled on wooden stakes and rusted metal rods,
Even god couldn't help this Apocalypse,
When Humanity is Lost. . .
