The Cause Of Death
By Darius
Thirsting for more,
Always attacking the poor.
Unleashing explosive barrages,
Soldiers empty their cartridges.
Going to places that aren’t hostile,
Putting children in the hospital.
Bombs raining on the earth like a meteor shower,
Giving the Devil power.
Fathers out in the street , lock in firefights,
Never to put their kids to bed and say goodnight.
Leaving their lives,
Never to see their wives.
Startled by their stupidity,
Because they vote to go to war instantly,
But they never voted served in the infantry.
No honor, but we continue to fight bravely.
But they’re not there in the dead of night,
Pinned down in a firefight.
When we fall down, no life left,
Because you choice was The Cause of Death…
