This is Just One of the Daily Scenarios
We shouldn't wait till times of war to be united...
I just finished watching 'Remember Me', and anyone who has seen it, probably understands why this is of significance. I just can't believe it ended that way. When I saw the date on the board at the little girl's school I just felt my stomach drop. ((but I don't really have much of a stomach at the moment since I'm sick)) I don't think anyone seeing that movie without being told ahead of time that he dies in the twin towers would've known that and seen it coming. But then again, that's the same way it happened in reality. ((but those girls that cut Caroline's hair! what bitches! I support Aiden and stealing their bikes, and then hacking the tires with scissors. twisted ))
Okay I'm done with movies. On to reality.
I was in Kindergarden when 9/11 happened. My first brother ((my mom was pregnant with my second)) was two weeks short of his first birthday. I don't really remember a lot, considering I was little and stuff, but I remember my best friend going home early and seeing it on T.V.
Has anyone of heard of the islamic building thing ((I'm so sorry, but I have no idea what it's called since I wasn't really paying attention when they were talking about it on the news)) and how they want to build it near the world trade center? I personally have no problem with islamics and I know they aren't all bad people, but that just seems wrong. It's like us bombing them and then nearly ten years later when we at aren't total odds anymore asking to building something of ours near the site. Would they like that? I think not. I'm all for them building something, that's awesome, just not near there. And by near, I mean at least a fifteen mile radious on all sides. That is all I ask to respect that spot.
Nor should we forget why we united in the first place...
