Going to shove in another entry before my final tests start.
So this topic may be a bit old, but you've probably heard of the may 21st doomsday prediction, right? My whole family's christian (except for my father), and none of us believed Harold Camping. With the slight half-exception of my mother, who didn't believe him in the end because she thought he was a false prophet. I liked this excerpt from an online news article
"But today, almost 18 hours after he thought he’d be in Heaven, there was Camping, 'flabbergasted' in Alameda, wearing tan slacks, a tucked-in polo shirt and a light jacket.
Birds chirped. A gentle breeze blew. Across the street, neighbors focused on their yard work and the latest neighborhood gossip."
XD I feel kind of sorry for the guy. I mean, he is an old man and now everyone in the world hates him. And it wasn't like his motives were bad. Pity that some people on the Raptor Is Coming (har-har, Gaia Online) judge all Christians based on this event.
My sister already left for Taiwan. Two days after I get out from school I'll be flying over to Taiwan. My mother is leaving a while afterward since she's a music teacher.
One thing I enjoy doing whenever I'm stressed is singing... though I've come to the terms that I absolutely suck at singing. My high notes sound like those people you'd make fun of in American Idol. Shudder.
I drew a couple of freebie art today, I watched some Ytube videos, I studied, and I read some magazines. I'm counting the days until I'm finally out of here and on the plane! I'm pretty excited; this is the first time (believe it or not) flying solo! My sister thought I was silly for being all excited, as she says that everyone by my age would have flied solo by now. Maybe I was just disillusioned by that Korean drama where the main female lead was a working adult and had not flied solo before. ;/
Dream time! (It's kind of short.)
There was this one dream where I was at the house of this Youtuber with brown hair and swoopy bangs. I came with a couple of friends, and we baked together. Yeah, not much more to that... I forgot most of it, but I remember just running around the house with them, socializing and waiting for our baking goods to brown. And near the end of the dream, I turned to Leonardo DiCaprio (yes, the brown-haired Youtuber had suddenly turned into him without me realizing it) and wanted to ask him a question. And then I wondered for a bit. And then I realized: Hey, why is Leonardo DiCaprio here? The Youtuber was just here a second ago.
I woke up, and my second dream of that night was swimming. Self explanatory: I swan around the swimming pool with a couple more people, and I woke up.
These were pretty scattered and random, but I enjoyed having them. c:
