Once in my life there was a time when I feared and crept low to the ground; afraid of everything. I was defensive. Now I find myself surprised at my own gall, having said what I did with no anger, hatred or shame, regardless as to how the others thought of me and my actions. In the past, I have been wrong many times. What can I do? Sorry cannot make the amends to fix the lorry, so I must pay where I can and move on with my life. I apologize to those I wounded, and they are many. For those who my apologies are not enough I will pay for later on-no deed goes unpaid. And for once, whether it is rightful or not, I am at peace with myself.
