I don't remember much of what happened that night ... Only the end ...

They were chasing us through that "secret" underground labyrinth under the city ... She was with me ... She clung to my arm as we ran ... It was as if she let go, she'd lose all hope to keep moving on ... They wouldn't shoot until we stopped ... And we knew it ... So we kept going ... And she never let go ...

It seemed like hours ... The more corners we turned, the more desperate I became to save her ... But how? We were unarmed ... It would have been suicide if we chose to stop and fight back ...

But then I remembered from the archives I found, showed that the passage we were in led straight to the heart of the city above us ... Led straight to It ... I realized, if I coud get to their "Secret Weapon" first, I could use It against them ... And she would be saved, and the war ended ...

It was worth the try ... I knew deep in my heart that I loved her ... That I'd do anything to save her ... To protect her ... Even if it meant my own life ...

So why?

Why is it that I'm still alive and that she is now dead?

What happpened?

What went wrong?

What did I do?





But I do know this ... I will find them ... The ones who did this ... And I will make them pay ... I will avenge her ... And I will not stop until my last breath ...
