Peach Girl.
I don't know why, but I somehow thought that, as per my infatuation with Suzuka (see my mule's Journal) I might grow to like it if I watched the JP version.
Again, things like this are easily possible with the following:
13 Hours of free time
Boredom
Broadband Internet
Patience
But this one was a waste. Sure, there were some laughs, but sometimes the gags detracted from the mood, and in the end the conclusion was only justified enough for a 10 year old to believe that Momo-chan and her final choice of man would work out well. I feel that the abrupt and unexplained ending turned a whole pile of suspense and drama into nothing, because there was no real closure.
If you're young, easy minded, and a sucker for love dramas in a big way, maybe it's for you, but otherwise, forget it. It has no real depth in the end, the love for the one was only marginally above that of the other, and only circumstance-based. Waste of HDD space/DVD rack space.
