Hey to anyone who reads this.
So it's Christmas Eve.
No Christmas Tree.
No decorations.
The only thing holiday or Christmas-y in our home are the holiday cards sent from our relatives sitting on my vanity.
Ever since the divorce started pending, nothing gets done in our house.
To be honest, this is freaking out my younger siblings and I have no idea what to do.
This isn't normal.
So tomorrows Christmas, and the only thing our family is doing is going to this awkward-annoying Christmas lunch us offspring are forced to go to. We just awkwardly sit there and stare at our plates until everyone is finished eating.
We did get presents, but we got them today.
That kinda ruined it a little for my younger sister (13),
who went ballistic when our parents gave her her CHRISTMAS presents on Christmas eve.
I cherish our past Christmas's when we would stay in our PJ's around the tree and have nice warm candles lighted. (That is, until we went to lunch)
To make this worse, it's Christopher's first Christmas.
I'm going to try to sneak out of the awkward lunch to make the best of Christmas with him instead.
I got him some new toys and adorable bibs.
I even got some bones for the dogs, and I got Pokey a new toothbrush for his bath-time.
Merry Christmas Eve, lovelies.
