I can't believe it.
I'm in tears right now.
I probably should've known sooner,
but I guess it's because I abandoned the series for so long.
I started reading Shugo Chara! when I was 11 years old, (abandoned it for a while)
and just 3 weeks ago I finished it with the 12th volume.
Only I didn't find out it was the final volume until today.
I was so attached to the series, I guess because I kinda grew up with it.
It was sorta the reason I got through middle-school and Freshman year.
All about dreams and ambitions, your would-be self, it was made for me.
I loved it. I still love it. I really don't want to let it go.
Last week I decided to start watching the anime,
to refresh my memories on the series when the new manga books came out.
Until I found out 12 was the final volume.
It ended in such a cliff-hanger.
I guess all I can do now is finish the anime anyway,
and get the anime shorts ( featuring mainly the Chara's )
and power-up series ( I'm not sure what that is? )
Theirs gonna be a ton of ice-cream, tissues, and tears for a while.
That series kept me a child. I want that back.
