Hey to anyone that reads this!
So it's Christmas, and I tried to sum up some holiday cheer around the house.
In my last entry I talked about how we had no decorations up.
So last night after that entry, I got out my decorations.
We all like to decorate our own rooms every year.
However this year nobody seemed to do that, it was a little depressing.
I thought it would make the house less drab if I got mine up.
So all throughout the Eve and early mornings of Christmas, I put up decorations.
I also put one of our smaller 4-foot tree's out and decorated it.
I figured since our actual, regular tree isn't out, at least we've got one.
Since we opened our presents on Christmas Eve,
I just baked gingerbread cookies and gathered everyone around the tree anyway.
We all just talked about the gifts we received and thanked everyone.
It seemed to go well.
I also managed to get Christopher away from lunch yesterday,
for his first Christmas at least.
I took him to the mall to sit on Santa's lap, even though he's gotten presents.
I just wanted to get the tradition started on him, I might even get him a few more things.
