“Yeah, I don’t think this is going to work out.” She said as she sat on the edge of the bed and pulled her boot on.
“Oh yeah, why not?”
She adjusted her hair “For one you’re probably an a*****e and well for two, this isn’t really smart. I don’t know why I’m doing this high school bullshit at 30.”
“It’s fun? And you said you’re 29”
“Well for the time being, for both of those, but you’re kinda an a*****e when I figured you would be more like a friend to me. You only respond when I suggest we f*** by text. Any other moment is a one word response to my long winded one.”
“You’re just talkactive, that’s all. It’s not really a problem, Bailey.”
“Or you just have nothing to say in response to what matters to me or have any interest in me beyond what you’ve already gotten.”
“I told you that it’s not like that. I’m busy with work and I’ve been tired.”
“Whatever, It’s fine, I’ll get over it.” Bailey shrugged.
“What do you mean?”
“I don’t think you like talking to me or even care that I’m here. I’m somebody to kill time with. If you wanted to be a friend, you would have an interest in talking to me or meeting up”
“What about you finding our conversations to be like a chess match?”
“It’s not really a challenge or a match, if there’s no line of play to respond to. I can’t help but lose interest.” She got up and grabbed her bag, “Call me when you actually want to keep something going.”

Things I write for no apparent reason other than to pass the time. Most stories have no endings, but contain an awful lot of meaningless dialogs. Other entries are basically boring life occurrences that have nothing to do with my stories whatsoever.
