Newest story. Don't laugh at my mistakes, I wrote it at midnight last night. I'll edit and add more later, but I need ideas for names for the first two characters mentioned, so post 'em for me, please!
"Here's the keys." She tossed them to him. "You'll get along fine no matter where you go, but I really must ask- Where are you going?"
He shrugged and slung the bag over his shoulder. "Who knows? Who cares?"
She glared at him and pushed him so that he faced her. "I do."
"I didn't mean it like that. Of course you care, you're my sister." He tossed the bag into the back of the truck.
"Yes, which is the reason why I need to know where you are going."
"I seriously don't know."
She frowned. "You'll call me soon when ever you get there right?"
"Yeah." He climbed into the driver seat of the truck.
"You won't do anything stupid will you?"
"Not yet. I'll call you before I do." He joked as she glared at him again. "I'll cut the jokes, if you let me go."
She smiled. "Go on, leave the coven who's cared and sheltered you for all your, what we call life." She closed the door and leaned against it not letting him leave just yet.
"I've gotta."
She frowned again.
"It's alright, sis, I'll keep in touch."
"You're going on your own, what's not to worry about?" She's always had a look upon her face as if she were thinking, but now she did not. She looked far more innocent then she really was.
"I won't get into too much trouble. I've got to be on my own to think for a little while, that's all."
She smiled. "You're thinking for once, that's a good sign. Come back and visit soon, although for good would be better." She tapped the hood of her pick up truck, "Be good to him. He's been good to me for 60 years now."
"You really need a new car."
She ignored her brother. "He better come home in one piece." She threatened as her brother pulled out of the garage with a grin.
She needed a faster one anyways, he thought.
She slung the pack over her shoulder as her friends ran to catch up with her.
"Slow down." Maylin said as she tried to get a better grip on her luggage.
"We're wasting time!" She called over her shoulder.
"It's 5 o'clock. All the museums close in another hour. Why can't we just go to the hotel and rest?" Jax asked as he tried to catch his breath.
"I'm not planning on a museum."
"Ambrosia Leonora Fenton! You stop right now and tell us what you're planning!" Maylin said standing in the middle of the sidewalk. She was annoyed and tired and would obviously go no further unless she did. She whined. "Ami, my feet are killing me, and I really need to know what you are planning for us to do against our own free will!" She sat down on her suitcase with a huff and Jax stood beside her.
Ami sympathized. "I really wanted it to be a surprise." She walked back to them. "You have been my friends all my life and yet you still don't trust me?"
Maylin rolled her eyes. "You know we trust you, but I really don't want you to trek us all across London when we just got here and without knowing what we are supposed to be doing."
"Alright." She resolved. "The guy on the train told me about this pub. There's a great band showing only tonight and we need to go. They show in..." She checked her watch. "Three hours and we have to be there before the place is filled."
Jax grinned. "I'll go if you go." He said to Maylin who glared.
"Let me take a shower first." She grumbled as she picked up her bag and followed.
The hotel wasn't the best, but that's what you get when you're traveling Europe on a budget.

Things I write for no apparent reason other than to pass the time. Most stories have no endings, but contain an awful lot of meaningless dialogs. Other entries are basically boring life occurrences that have nothing to do with my stories whatsoever.
